How Luz recovered from breast cancer and then had the strength to achieve her health and fitness goals!
Luz is one of our most inspirational clients. She is a survivor who fought breast cancer, overcame it, and achieved an incredible body transformation. Luz had always been active and fit, but after her diagnosis, she gave up working out altogether during her chemotherapy phases because of the food restrictions imposed on her by doctors.
During these treatments, she lost a lot of muscle and gained fat. Her diet had to be very strict during chemotherapy as it is one of the requirements for chemotherapy to be more efficient at battling cancer cells. It meant she had to avoid many foods with higher calorie contents, such as meats and other high-protein foods. She also minimized her sugar intake and overall processed foods and was kept at a deficient calorie diet of around 1000 calories a day.
When Luz started working with personal trainer Milos, the main task was to rebuild her strength and make her believe she could achieve her body transformation! Each session she did has been transformative - Luz has grown physically and mentally through her journey with Fortius!
What is impressive is that during her training experience with Fortius, she gained 1 kilogram compared to the start. Still, she also dropped 8% body fat and had a 6 centimeters reduction in her waist circumference!

How can I change my body in 30 days?
Thirty days is more than enough to make significant lifestyle changes and learn how to train and eat the right way for your fitness goals. Within one month, a good personal trainer can teach you all the above and set you up for success. However, achieving dramatic body composition changes is impossible in such a limited time! We suggest everyone try out our 12 & 16-week body transformation programs for the best results!
How do I know which personal training business is legit, as there are many in the fitness industry?
We agree that it can be very challenging to find the right personal trainer for you, which is why we suggest you take your time searching for the best solution. Interview the personal trainer in person and ask them to show you real client results and their previous experience and education. Also, make sure they specialize in the same goal you want: muscle building, weight loss, performance training, or any other type of training.
Are your fitness professionals certified?
All our personal trainers in Dubai are certified and undergo a rigorous training process with our head coach. One of the requirements of any trainer we hire is a minimum of one year of experience in personal training before they can join team Fortius.
What type of personal training do you offer?
We have a training ideology that aims to provide the client with the maximum results with the least amount of work. That does not mean that we won't cater to the client's specific needs. We do classic bodybuilding, functional training, strength training, Crossfit, and other types of exercise.
I want to lose weight. How much should I aim to lose per week?
Every person is different regarding the rate at which they would lose weight. We like to say slow, and steady wins the race! That means a sustainable weight loss rate would be around 500gm per week.
